The Junior women's league and American Girl are putting on a fashion show...here in Tampa.
It was $28 a person and I'm wondering if it is worth it?!?!?! I was just wondering what they do at these things!
There is no food served, but it will have treats, favors, prizes & more it says.

I went ahead and ordered our tickets to go in Nov, so we'll see whether it was a waste or not.

    Thanks!

We've been to 2, and I think it's worth it. All the money raised, goes to charity.

It's a fashion show with girls dressed in the now retired historical dresses. They finish with outfits & sleepwear that are still available.

I loved just seeing all the girls get so excited, and then dead silence, jaw drop, when it started.

You'll get a little goodie bag when you enter,(pencil, stickers, paperdolls). If it's like ours, you have to buy raffle tickets for the AG items.

They did have some items you could purchase: An AG-size Fashion Show T-shirt, Girl-sized baseball cap, and I'm drawing a blank on what else. There wasn't very much to purchase.

    I know you'll have a great time!

thanks for writing back! Your experience sounds great and I'm really looking forward to it now. Yes, I went ahead and prepurchased some raffle tickets too. Cross our fingers!

I chuckled at the jaw dropping comment. I can definitely see that happening!!!!

    thanks again,

Wow that's great to hear. I purchased tickets for an Oct 29 show. This is a surprise for my daughter. I was also able to purchase a t-shirt and hat for my daughter and her doll.

    looking forward to going.
